Sonixphere and iSpy Take Home BMI Awards
Sonixphere, the globally-connected resource for everything related to music, sound design and audio branding, captured a cache of awards for original music for commercials and TV, cementing its reputation as a top notch resource for high quality work across all media platforms.
Sonixphere is proud to have been honored with the prestigious BMI Music Award for the original theme and in-show music its composers wrote for Flying Wild Alaska in association with the award-winning composing team at iSpy Music. Frozen Sky is an exciting mixture of orchestral instruments, native Alaskan percussion, and contemporary instrumentation capturing the danger of being a pilot in the rough conditions of Alaska. The track was created in collaboration with native Alaskan rapper, Peand-eL.
“BMI Cable Television Awards are presented to the composers who write outstanding original music for a cable series,” says Sonixphere’s Greg Allan. “We’re excited to contribute our talents and be part of the ongoing success of the show. We appreciate the opportunity to have composed the theme, and enjoy our award-winning collaboration with iSpy Music.”
